Today, we’re shining a spotlight on an employee to help you get to know us better.
This week’s Employee Spotlight features one of newer security technicians, Josh Taylor.
1. What is your job title?
Security Technician
2. What do you do at Heartland Security?
I install service panels and sensors, 3G to 4G LTE cell upgrades, pull wire for card access, replace batteries, and test systems.
3. What’s your favorite thing about working at Heartland Security?
The people I’ve met so far. Rod has been great to work for and has made it easy to transition into this new role. The techs I’ve met have been incredibly knowledgeable and have taken the time to teach me on the jobs I’m at, and the people at the office have also been helpful and have given me a warm welcome.
4. What’s something most people don’t know about you?
I’ve got a blended family with 6 kids at home – My oldest son Jason is 17, my daughter Mia is 15, my wife’s daughter Aria is almost 9, our daughter Adelynn is 5 and the twins Nicolas and Nathan are 2 1/2 years old.
5. What do you do when you’re not working?
I enjoy home projects and have needed to add a bedroom and bathroom to the basement for more room and a larger deck in the past few years. Our family enjoys bike rides to the park and trips to Grandma’s lake house in Iowa in the summer.
