Heartland Security celebrated a great 2017 with our employees at our annual holiday party earlier this month. This year’s party had our best attendance yet, with only one of our full-time employees missing! 2017 was a great year for us and we’re thankful for our customers and employees!
In 2017, we briefly offered a do-it-yourself security system called Dragonfly. We hired a few new employees and also had our first employee retirement this past summer.
As is our yearly tradition, we present our General Manager with a gift from all of the employees. This year, we went with something a little different and a little more personalized: a house made up of his business cards inside a bottle.
We also recognized employees who have been with Heartland Security for 5 years: Chuck Amundson, Ryan Rjosfjord, and Dan Howard (and Jean Zenzen, who was not at the meeting).
Next, our Executive Sales Manager, Corey Pierce, presented the 2017 award for sales excellence to Tom Vega. Since Tom wasn’t in attendance at our holiday party last year, Corey also presented him with the 2016 award he won.
Then it was time for some games! Heartland Security employees and their guests completed holiday word searches, solved holiday trivia, and played holiday bingo. Some brave volunteers also played a few solo cup games.
We ended the evening with a timed “snowball” fight using the paper cards from bingo.
Overall, 2017 was a great year for Heartland Security and we hope you had a great year too!
Happy 2018!
